Stop the Lies

Lies and the people who tell them. What is a lie really and why are we afraid of truth?

My daughter lied to her friend. She has yet to understand that outside of the now, her friend will more than likely find out. Problem is she will have to tell more lies. The reason she told it? So she wouldn't hurt her feelings. Oh but she will. Is it worth hurting someone you care about to have moment of satisfaction?

Lies damage lives. They hurt the liar and the very person you are trying to protect, even more so. I have said numerous times, your honesty and communication allows the people you have relationships with the option to chose what is best for them.

I despise liars. Yes I have lied and been a effing bad liar at times in my life, realizing I wasn't making good choices. After realizing that my life is mine to decide for myself, I took another approach. Honesty. Then there is no explanation necessary.

Being honest is very hard to do, really. I mean how often do we tell a waiter that everything is good when it's not what they claimed to be? I know I have. Yes, I can tolerate it but I may not be back. Why don't I just tell them that, they asked?

I don't seek out to spew my opinion on everyone I meet, but if you ask, I will tell you my truth. And I will listen to yours. But I do expect the truth.

The bigger the lie the more lies. How do you sleep at night living a double life? Do you think if only I get away with this that you will treat that person better? Or do you continue to only ask for and get half truths?

I can't imagine being with someone I needed to hide things from. Really what is the point? Secrets will destroy and lies will kill the soul.

Be who you are.

Yes, but please keep in mind that even the person who has integrity still lies unintentionally because of sin.

Perception is ultimately one piece of the "lie" puzzle connected to the truth which creates the picture called reality.

Nobody is capable of seeing the complete truth except for God.

And the rest is just a perceived illusion skewed by the eyes of mortals.

now what the f@ck is this i am hearing? um. sin. god. well, now let us not assume that what we believe to be true is true nor should we assume that the rest of the world gives a f@ck about our definition of sin or god.

god=fraud. or is that my unintentional liar ass spewing sin.

WAIT, i gots a better one.

god=illusion but maybe i am just so stuffed full of roast that my perception is skewed.

lying is not fun, you're right. it just leads to more and more lies and it's too much work. it's exhausting at the end of the day.

Psycho- Take God out of the equation and try to grasp what I actually was saying.

Nobody is capable of seeing the "complete" truth because a perceived truth isn't necessarilly reality.

For example, take the internet.

Any item which comes out of a person's mouth can be misinterpreted. Every thought on the page isn't honestly reality, but actually a projected reality which often isn't the truth.

What's this Mumbo Jumbo?

In my little world, lies suck, I want truth whether it is your perceived reality or not, the reality is life is going on in your head the way you want to see it.

I dont fear God, I am God in every sense of the word. God created me in his likeness and God is good.

Therefore, I see my complete truth.

That is my reality today. I am here to learn but not by fear. I march to the beat of my own drum and my sins i call learning.

But don't misinterpret me, your misinterpretation may be your truth not my truth or maybe it is, in reality I may be projecting through my mortal eyes, but one may never know.

The Buddha says "Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world"

Nice piece-

No mumbo jumbo or malice intended.

True and kind words which change the world do not frighten me.

What frightens me is how true and kind words can be used to manipulate people into believing in a truth which does not exist.

Case and point, at one time, Hitler made the cover of Time Magazine because his words were considered to be true and kind.

There is a fine line between change for the good and corruption.

That is the reason most organized religion does fail.

Sometimes the truth isn't actually the truth, but becomes what people perceive to be true when any given society is manipulated.

That was the point I was trying to make.

The people in our lives that choose to keep lying and sneaking around get something out of it. Some people cant let go of the past and refuse to change a situation and will lie right to your face about it. those are the people that have a bad case of karma coming.

you can choose the outcome. and you keep choosing the same one.

Personally i think it is really fucked up.

Some times---and only some times, it is kinder to not tell the truth---you might just make some one feel better

Ya tell me lies, lies, lies, sweet little lies
When I cannot bear the truth
Ya tell me lies, lies, lies, sweet little lies
Help me make them all come true

Tell me that the rain won't fall today
Tell me that the tax man lost his way (eh uh)
Tell me that the hurtin' ain't gonna hurt no more
(no it ain't gonna hurt no more)
Tell me that somebody stopped the war

Tell me that the whole world's wonderful (yes it is)
Tell me that the bank accounts too full (uhh unh)
Tell me that me that we all got plenty of
time, time, time (tell something)
Tell me that I ain't gonna lose my mind (lift me up now)

Ain't on just a man, with my heart in my hand
You tell me things that haunt, and ghosts won't leave me alone
And even I got no plans, I'm on the run from the man
Just hold on to me, just hold on to me

Everytime I need a breath, everytime I
need to share, everytime I need someone
to hold on too
