Some What What

I feel like writing but have a all this debris floating around my head.

So I will ask just answer these

When was the last time you tried something new?
It has been far too long, I got all new make-up but that is more like a treat to myself. Not really relevant at all. More like a treat... I went to Burning Man and that was new and now I will do it again and it wont be new. So I will try a new restaurant this week and try something new and will plan a trip before summer and go somewhere new.

Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?
This a question that to answer honestly is torture. So I am going to skip this questions and realize that I will work on never doing this again.

What’s the most sensible thing you’ve ever heard someone say?
Grow with your kids. And it is true. It taught me to see them as individuals and assume I always know everything as a mom. Now that they are teens I have learned to accept the place they are and know that they wont always be in this place, good and bad.

What gets you excited about life?
New experiences. The idea of sharing my soul with a trusted person and feeling valued. Being with like minded people and looking forward to learning new things. And a good fucking massage.

What life lesson did you learn the hard way? Nothing pops in my head. But in reality, I have had a pretty good life. Yes, I have had my share of loss and hurts, but accept the pains to be able to appreciate the good now..

What do you wish you spent more time doing five years ago?
Not worrying so much. Following through, not being controlling. Having the guts I have now.

Do you ask enough questions or do you settle for what you know?
I believe my questioning gets me into trouble. People dont want to be truthful. they want to pretend that all is fine and looking inside and revealing it is threatening. I have learned to not ask improtant questions to people that dont have a daily role in my life.

What’s a belief that you hold with which many people disagree? Parenting. I believe it is better to be a role model and give positive consequences than to have a the do as i say, not as i do. That is so 1970

What can you do today that you were not capable of a year ago? Stand up for myself. Walk away when I dont want to but know I need to. Not feel guilt or apologize because it is expected. I can do it when it is truthful.

Being valued, I think, is critical to almost everyone. I don't hear people talk about it much, but the surest way to lose someone you love is to take them for granted, to forget how much they mean to you, and to make them feel that they are not valued.

Wow, that was awkward said...

Adventures, saying yes, open minds, living in the moment. That is what I thought of after reading your mind dump.
